At Nkuliza Foundation, we believe that every child deserves access to a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment. We are delighted to share an important milestone in our partnership with Saad Islamic Nursery & Primary School in Nyamirami, Kasese District—the commencement of Phase 2 construction.
Following the successful completion of the school’s Early Childhood Development (ECD) facilities under Phase 1, work is now underway on a new five-classroom block that will accommodate learners in the upper primary section. The construction has progressed to the foundation stage, with excavation, reinforced concrete footings, and foundation walling already taking shape.
This expansion is a direct response to the growing number of children enrolling at the school and the urgent need for additional classroom space. Once completed, the new block will provide a safe and conducive learning environment, helping to reduce overcrowding and improve the quality of education for hundreds of children in the community.
The project reflects the power of collaboration between local communities, dedicated partners, and supporters who share a common vision of transforming lives through education. Every brick laid is an investment in the future of a child and a step toward creating stronger, more resilient communities.
